Student Registration

Welcome to Splendora ISD! We are excited about partnering with your family to provide your children with a high-quality education.

The district uses the Skyward Family Access Parent Portal for a step-by-step registration process, annual forms, grades, and attendance.

Registration Requirements for All Students:

The following information outlines all the requirements for registering your student. If you cannot produce this documentation, please contact your campus registrar for assistance. The person registering the student must be the biological parent, a legal guardian, or someone with legal responsibility for the child. You must provide appropriate documentation, including:

  • A birth certificate
  • A court order, or
  • A power of attorney

Pre-Kindergarten Requirements:

In Texas, a child must be four years old by September 1 of the current school year and meet specific eligibility requirements to qualify for Pre-K. Review the full Pre-K registration details and eligibility criteria for more information.

Kindergarten Requirements:

In Texas, a student must be five years old on or before September 1 of the current school year to register for Kindergarten.

If your child is currently enrolled in a Splendora ISD Pre-K program, they will automatically be enrolled for Kindergarten; you do not need to complete this process.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Student age is calculated as of September 1 of the current school year.

    • Pre-Kindergarten students must be age four on or before September 1 of the current school year and meet the eligibility requirements for Pre-K.
    • Kindergarten students must be age five on or before September 1 of the current school year.
    • First-grade students must be age 6 on or before September 1 of the current school year.
  • In the State of Texas, students are tracked by their state identification number. TEA prefers that students be coded using their Federal Social Security Number, and we are required to ask for this information. We can only assign the Social Security Number as the student's State ID when we have acceptable proof of that number. If acceptable proof is not provided, an alternative State ID number may be used; however, this ID is not accepted by institutions of higher education. Acceptable proof includes:

    • Copy of the Social Security Card
    • Records from the previous school
    • Income Tax Forms

Proof of Identification for Student (per the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure 63.019)

    • A certified copy of the child's birth certificate or another document suitable as proof of the child's identity as defined by the Commissioner of Education in the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook.
    • The name of the previous school attended by the student.
    • A copy of the child's records from the schools the child most recently attended.

Proof of Identification for Person Enrolling Student

    • Current, valid state, federal, or international photo identification that includes the name, birth date, and signature.
  • Visit our Transportation Department website to complete the Transportation Service Registration Form.

  • Create a SchoolCafé account. While all Splendora ISD students receive free breakfast and lunch, this platform allows parents and guardians to view daily menus, track purchases, set dietary restrictions, and manage payments for additional snack items.

    • For existing SchoolCafé users:
      • Log in with your SchoolCafé credentials.
    • For new users:
      • Create a SchoolCafé account
      • Click "Need to Create an Account or Contact Us" and follow the on-screen steps.

  • Our District uses Infofinder-i to help families determine their child's school of residence and the location of the nearest bus stop. You can search your address in Infofinder-i or view the Splendora ISD Elementary Attendance Zone Map to determine which elementary campus your child will attend.

  • If you have forgotten your username or password, click Forgot your Username or Password and enter your email or username.

  • Contact your child’s campus directly or email your questions to peims@splendoraisd.org.

  • When you click the Submit button, the information will be sent to the child’s school, and you will receive a confirmation email. The campus registrar will process and verify the registration by reviewing the provided information, documents, and eligibility. The registrar will contact the parents once the application is completed.

  • Yes, you need to provide information for each student. When you have finished and submitted the first application, you will need to click Enroll New Student and complete another application. You will use the same Splendora ISD Link account you created as the parent/guardian.

  • If you are having issues logging in to your Skyward account or resetting your password, please email peims@splendoraisd.org. Please provide your name, your child's name, and a copy of your government-issued photo ID.
