Board of Trustees

The Splendora ISD Board of Trustees' vision is to provide an educational setting where every student is empowered to be: self-motivated, confident, an adaptable learner, a critical thinker, and a productive citizen.

Board of Trustees meetings are scheduled each month, generally on the third Monday at 6 pm, in the Administration Building Boardroom at 23419 FM 2090, Splendora, Texas. Board Notices and Agendas are posted on the website calendar 72 hours before the board meeting. Minutes are placed on the website after they have been officially approved at the board meeting. 

Audience Participation: Any person wishing to address the Board during Board meetings must sign up to be heard in accordance with District policy BED. Audience participation at a Board meeting is limited to the portion of the meeting designated for public comment, in accordance with this policy. At all other times during a Board meeting, the audience shall not enter into discussion or debate on matters being considered by the Board, unless requested by the presiding officer.

At regular Board meetings, the Board shall permit public comment, regardless of whether the topic is an agenda item posted with notice of the meeting. At all other Board meetings, public comment shall be limited to items on the agenda posted with notice of the meeting.

Individuals who wish to participate during the portion of the meeting designated for public comment shall sign up with the presiding officer or designee (Superintendent's Secretary) before the meeting begins, as specified in the Board's procedures on public comment, and shall indicate the agenda item or topic on which they wish to address the Board.
