Superintendent Search

Splendora Independent School District is seeking an innovative, student-driven leader for Superintendent of Schools beginning March 10, 2025.

Splendora ISD has approximately 5700 students and 850 employees, serving grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Located 35 miles North of Houston, the district is projecting annual student growth of 12% over the next few years.

Splendora ISD boasts challenging and engaging academic offerings along with robust CTE and extracurricular programs for all students. The district believes that success is measured beyond standardized test results, rather, by assessment of whole student development as designed by local stakeholders.

Impact Education Specialists has been hired by the School Board to assist in the search for the next superintendent of Splendora ISD. To ensure the right fit for our district, the firm conducted five separate meetings, which included participation from: 1) campus principals, 2) faculty and staff from each campus, 3) parents and community members, 4) central office personnel, and 5) students. Board of Trustee Expectations for the New Superintendent

  • Experience in school leadership, preferably in Superintendent or central office role

Job Requirements

  • Masters Degree in educational administration from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Superintendent Certificate
  • Five years of leadership in school administration in a public school district
