Our department will provide delicious, nutritious, and balanced meals that fuel every student's potential. We operate under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. The Director of Child Nutrition announced the adoption and implementation of the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. Under this provision, all Splendora ISD students will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge. This initiative ensures that every student has access to nutritious meals, promoting better learning and well-being.
Even though the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application is no longer required for students to receive free meals, we ask that you complete the Household Income Survey through our SchoolCafé system. Through this system, parents can view the breakfast and lunch menus, make payments, set purchase restrictions, view purchases, set up auto-pay (for any additional food or snack items), and complete the much-needed Household Income Survey.
Access SchoolCafé and the survey. This link is also embedded in the ParentSquare app under More > Links.

Completing this survey helps us secure funding for free meals, obtain grants for educational programs, qualify families for Summer EBT, reduce internet costs, and reduce fees for various programs and activities. Additionally, the collected data enables the district to secure grants and funding for educational enrichment programs and personnel. We are excited about this opportunity and believe it will have a positive impact on our students and community members. Providing all students with free meals reflects our commitment to supporting their health and educational success.
