Next week is College Week across Splendora ISD! Throughout the week, students will have opportunities to explore their futures and learn more about the many possibilities available after high school.
From college and career pathways to military service and beyond, College Week encourages our Wildcats to dream big, explore their options, and start thinking about what comes next.
Students and staff are encouraged to wear college shirts all week long! Rep your favorite college, alma mater, or a school you hope to attend someday.
No matter where the future leads, every child deserves a conversation about the possibilities ahead.

SHAC members play an important role in helping our district promote students' health, wellness, and overall well-being. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your ideas, perspectives, and experiences while partnering with our schools to support the health needs of our students and families.

Citywide Impact is bringing the community together this Christmas with "A CityWide Christmas," a free celebration on Friday, December 25, from 2–7 pm at the Bull Sallas Park Show Barn, 21675 McCleskey Road in New Caney.
The event is for anyone who needs a Christmas meal, companionship, or a welcoming place to celebrate the holiday. Individuals, couples, and families are all invited to attend. Guests can enjoy Christmas dinner, Santa, family photos, kids' activities, games, crafts, hot cocoa, treats, Christmas movies, care packages, and gifts for children ages 0–18.
Registration opens September 10 and closes December 10. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged to help organizers prepare enough food and supplies. Children should be preregistered to guarantee a Christmas gift; a limited number of gifts will be available for walk-ins while supplies last.
Community members can also help make the celebration possible by donating or volunteering. The goal is simple: to make sure everyone has a place to experience community, connection, and the joy of Christmas.

From August 12, 2026, through October 9, 2026, the Gifted & Talented Department is accepting referrals to screen for students who may exhibit gifted characteristics and benefit from current programming options in grades 1 and 3-12. Kindergarten and Grade 2nd are universally screened per state and local policy.
This program is designed for students who exhibit any singular or combination of the following abilities or potential to develop capabilities at an extraordinary cognitive level: intellectual, leadership, creativity, artistic, and/or academic achievement.
Services are provided only if the Gifted and Talented Identification Profile reveals an educational need upon assessment and if the need is determined to not be normally served within the general education classroom and could be served by the Gifted and Talented program initiatives.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!
It’s Homecoming week, and the Splendora ISD Education Foundation is inviting alumni to show some love for their graduating class through our Class vs. Class giving challenge. Every gift made in honor of a class counts toward its total and helps us support Splendora students and educators. The Class of 2001 is currently in the lead, but there’s still time for another class to rally!
You can also support the Foundation at Men (& Women) Who Cook on Saturday, October 24, at The Nathaniel Center in Kingwood. It’s a fun evening of food, community, and support for our schools. Tickets go on sale September 24, and we’re still welcoming chef teams, sponsors, and auction donations.
