District Education Improvement Council (DEIC)
The District Education Improvement Council (DEIC) plays a vital role in guiding Splendora ISD’s continuous growth and success. In compliance with Education Code Section 11.251, this District-level committee advises the Board of Trustees and district leadership on establishing and reviewing educational goals, objectives, and major district-wide instructional programs.
While the DEIC serves in an advisory capacity, it is responsible for approving district-wide staff development initiatives. Through this work, the committee helps ensure that our instructional programs and professional learning opportunities align with the needs of students, staff, and the community.
