Perkins and Stafford Complete Leadership EMC Program

Splendora ISD proudly celebrates the achievements of two of its outstanding leaders—Brandi Perkins, Executive Director of Special Services, and Jennifer Stafford, Purchasing/Warehouse Director—who recently completed the Leadership East Montgomery County: Pathway to Leadership program.

This six-month course cultivates current and future leaders by offering participants a deeper understanding of the inner workings of East Montgomery County. The program combines professional leadership development with immersive learning experiences and valuable networking opportunities.

From November to April, Perkins and Stafford participated in seven intensive, five-hour sessions that highlighted critical components of the region’s infrastructure and economy. Each session included:

• A targeted leadership development segment presented by experts like Kimberly DiStefano of Oracle,
• Guest speakers representing various sectors,
• Behind-the-scenes tours of influential businesses and organizations across East Montgomery County.
   

Participants visited and learned from various locations, including the East Montgomery County Fire and Police Departments, the Hospital District, local school districts, The Highlands, and the Walmart Distribution Center. Through these site visits and presentations, participants gained firsthand insight into the operations, challenges, and collaborative efforts that make East Montgomery County thrive.

In addition to the in-depth learning experiences, Perkins and Stafford also networked with a diverse group of leaders and peers from across the region, fostering meaningful connections and collaborations that will benefit both Splendora ISD and the broader community.

Both leaders demonstrated a deep commitment to professional growth and community engagement through their completion of the program, exemplifying the Splendora ISD mission of empowering leaders to learn and lead for a lifetime.
