Officer Coronado Inspires Young Learners at PCE

Officer Coronado, proudly serving at Peach Creek Elementary, recently took the initiative to enhance safety education for the school’s youngest students. Recognizing the importance of making safety drills approachable and engaging, Officer Coronado ordered a series of superhero-themed books that explain lockdown procedures in a fun and age-appropriate way.
Demonstrating a deep commitment to student engagement, Officer Coronado read the book to 39 Pre-Kindergarten and 86 Kindergarten students. After the reading, each student received a certificate of participation and had the opportunity to color their very own superhero mask—turning a serious topic into a memorable and empowering experience.
Officer Coronado exemplifies servant leadership through consistent efforts to connect with students and create a positive, safe, and supportive school environment. Splendora ISD is proud to have such a dedicated officer serving our campuses.
