Splendora ISD is proud to announce Jared O’Farrell as the new Chief of Police for the district. With nearly 17 years of law enforcement experience, Chief O’Farrell brings both a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for student safety to his new role.

Chief O’Farrell began his career with the Conroe Police Department, where he served as a Crime Prevention Officer and a member of the SWAT team. His true calling emerged during his time with the Conroe ISD Police Department, where he dedicated himself to creating safe learning environments for students. As a Corporal and Detective, he specialized in youth-focused investigations, strengthening trust and building strong community relationships.

Advancing through the ranks from Sergeant to Lieutenant and now Chief at Splendora ISD, O’Farrell lives by his motto: “Justice with Compassion.” His commitment has earned him numerous honors, including Officer of the Year, Meritorious Service, and Life Saving awards, as well as community recognition for his outreach to schools and the homeless.

Beyond his professional achievements, Chief O’Farrell is a devoted husband and father of three. He stays active in the community by coaching youth baseball and assisting his wife in running their small business.

Splendora ISD is excited for Chief O’Farrell’s leadership as he continues to advance the safety and security of our schools, ensuring every student has a safe place to learn and grow.
