Canada fills Board of Trustee Vacancy
Splendora ISD is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has selected Jacque Canada to fill the vacant position for the remainder of the term.
The Board appreciates the strong interest shown by community members and interviewed many qualified candidates before selecting Canada to serve in this important role.
Canada grew up in East Montgomery County and has deep roots in the area, along with a strong understanding of the community’s values, growth, and future needs. She served on the Bond Steering Committee and currently serves on the East Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Board and the Splendora ISD Education Foundation Board, where she is passionate about supporting students, teachers, and the district's continued growth.
With a professional background in real estate as a Broker Associate at JLA Realty, Canada has built her career around leadership, communication, negotiation, and community service.
As both a parent of Splendora ISD graduates and a grandparent of current students, she is deeply invested in the future of local education and committed to thoughtful, collaborative leadership that strengthens the community for generations to come.
Canada resides in Splendora with her husband, Michael Canada. Splendora ISD looks forward to her service and dedication to the district's students, staff, and families.
