Bond Steering Committee Invitation

Splendora ISD's mission is "Cultivating Exceptional People." A significant part of this work is ensuring we provide excellent educational opportunities and facilities for our students. We continually evaluate our facilities and academic spaces to determine whether our learning environments meet our growing
student population and effectively support teaching, learning, and student growth.

We are considering a possible bond election in May 2025 and are inviting community members to serve on a Bond Steering Committee. The committee will study enrollment growth projections, facility needs, financial data, and more to make a fiscally responsible recommendation to the Splendora ISD Board of
Trustees.

We will host six meetings at various district facilities, allowing you to see our learning environments firsthand. Light refreshments will be offered at 5:30 pm, with meetings beginning promptly at 6 pm. District personnel will be available after meetings to lead campus tours, further enriching your understanding of our facilities. The committee meetings are scheduled as follows:
● August 28 at Piney Woods Elementary School
● September 11 at Splendora High School
● October 2 at Splendora Junior High School
● October 30 at Timber Lakes Elementary School
● November 20 at Peach Creek Elementary School
● December 11 at Splendora High School
