The 2026 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards program, which honors outstanding public school professionals, is now open for applications.
The H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards program recognizes outstanding educators who go the extra mile to serve their students and communities, and awards cash grants to finalists, winners, and their schools.
All state-certified public school teachers currently teaching within Texas are eligible for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards program, as well as Texas public school counselors, principals, school districts, and school boards. Texas early childhood education centers/schools are also eligible.
Applications for the 2026 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards are now open and will close on November 2, 2025. To apply, visit heblovesteachers.com/apply/. (A nomination is not required to apply for an award.)
