Randy Rowe Named Athletic Director

Splendora ISD is excited to announce that Randy Rowe has been selected as the Athletic Director. Rowe will officially start July and begin supporting the students and staff of Splendora ISD. We look forward to welcoming Mr. Rowe to our district, and the wealth of knowledge and experience with leading athletic programs and departments he brings with him.

Rowe graduated from Livingston High School in Livingston Independent School District.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education and Social Policy with a minor in Psychology from Northwestern University.  He went on to receive his Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Northwestern University as well. He has served as an Athletic Director and/or Head Coach for 28 of his 31 years in education. In his 31 years of coaching, Rowe has won numerous Coach of the Year awards at the 4A, 5A, and 6A levels.  For the past 6½ years, he served as Executive Director of Athletics and Athletic Director at Midland ISD.  Previous to moving to Midland, Rowe served in his hometown of Livingston as the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach and had great success in all programs at the 5A level from 2003-2014.

Randy and his wife Maribel have three children. Troy is 15, David is 14, and Raygen is 12.  Mr. Rowe also has a daughter, Katelyn, age 23, who will graduate in August from Texas Tech.
