Yvonne M. Johnson is coming to Splendora ISD from Crosby ISD with over 20 years of experience in public education, four years in public accounting, and two years in city government. She has a proven track record of managing school district finances, overseeing multi-million-dollar bond programs, and ensuring that resource allocation is aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.

Mrs. Johnson holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University in North Carolina. She is a Registered Texas School Business Administrator through the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO).

Additionally, Mrs. Johnson serves on the Board of Managers for Shepherd ISD, her alma mater, and was recognized as a Master Trustee in 2024 by Leadership TASB. She is an active member of TASBO, serves as the Secretary for the Gulf Coast TASBO Affiliate, and is on the Board of Trustees for Texas CLASS. She was also recently honored as one of the first recipients of the 2025 TASBO Ambassador Award for outstanding leadership in public education.

Mrs. Johnson and her husband are parents to three daughters, with their youngest, Peyton, aspiring to become a future Wildcat.
