The Splendora ISD Communications Department promotes positive and educational communication between the students, staff, parents, and the community. The department utilizes multiple venues to increase parental and community engagement and communicate the achievements of our staff and students. Primary responsibilities include:
Social Media - regularly post updates on Facebook and Twitter
District and Campus Websites - develop and manage content; provide training for campus webmasters
Crisis Communication - use multiple outlets to keep the community informed during inclement weather or other emergencies including the district website, Facebook, Twitter, and the Blackboard Connect automated phone message system.
