 Hello,                       

Welcome to Mrs. Tillery's 7th grade reading class!

My name is Patricia Tillery. I am a 7^th grade reading teacher. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts and Reading 4-8. I have been teaching in Splendora for six years.  I have taught both 7^th and 8^th grades.

In reading we will read "The Outsiders" and if time allows another novel. Along with other stories, we will be working on reading skills. The students in 7th grade reading will be required to read outside of class. We will go to the library and check out books so it is important that they be returned on time. 

I will be teaching each student how to become a better reader.  My goal is to have every student be successful. I think we are in for a fun-filled year.
