Welcome to Mrs. Lamb's Home Page

My name is Kristi Lamb, and I am the Case Manager and Inclusion Support Provider for the 7^th grade students at Splendora Jr. High.  I have been a teacher in Splendora ISD at the Middle School/Jr. High level for 17 years.  I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a Texas Teacher Certificate in Psychology, Business Education, Business Administration, Math and Special Education.   

I am married to Coach Lamb, a SJH science teacher and coach, and I have three children who attend SISD schools.  My oldest son is a Sophomore at Splendora Early College High School where he enjoys his welding classes and participates in power lifting.  My younger son is a Freshman, also at SECHS, where he enjoys athletics and participates in football and power lifting.  My daughter, a 1st grader at Piney Woods Elementary, loves to read and earn Reading Counts points and participate in the Reading Counts parades.

What is a Special Education Case Manager and Inclusion Support Provider?  

As a Special Education Case Manager and Inclusion Support Provider, I provide instructional support and guidance to individual special education students.  I have frequent contact with each special education student throughout each and every day.  I am responsible for monitoring student progress, consulting with the general education teachers, and serving as the contact for parents and guardians in reference to student grades and progress.
