WELCOME to Ms. Muirhead's 8th Grade Algebra & Math Class website! My name is Joanna Muirhead. I am a proud graduate of Splendora High School (class of 1992) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from the University of Houston. This is my tenth year to teach at Splendora Junior High. I have previously taught 7th grade math and 7th grade science classes. I enjoy helping students understand the basic math concepts that are used in everyday situations (such as money, cooking, and basic geometry) as well as challenging them with the introduction of Algebra skills.
