Mrs. Forrest’s 2nd Grade Class

Welcome to second grade. My name is Charlotte Forrest and I am currently a second grade teacher at Peach Creek Elementary.  I am fortunate to call Peach Creek  my home for the past ten years.  In my 30 years in  teaching, my experience has ranged from first grade through fifth grade.  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education which I received from the University of Texas (Hookem Horns!) and a Masters Degree from Pensacola Christian College.

I am married to a wonderful man and have three great children.  They have blessed me with six beautiful grandchildren.  I am part of a close knit family and enjoy spending time with my mom, children  and their spouses, and my grandchildren. 

 I am a dedicated educator.  I believe that all children can learn if given the right tools.  My classroom will  strive to be a place where all children will have the opportunity to show their individual strengths and build upon their unique differences.  I believe that education and learning should be fun, exciting and challenging.  I will do my best to encourage and motivate each child to achieve at their highest level,  I believe that education is a partnership between home, school and community.  I am available at anytime for parent conferences, concerns or questions. Remember that you are your child's best teacher. So through working together, we can make second grade an enjoyable and challenging experience.

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year and look forward to meeting each of you.   Please feel free  to contact me with any questions or concerns .  Email is usually  the quickest way  to contact  me , however, I am also availabe by school phone.  I look forward to a great school year.

Homework is every night except Friday's.  A new packet goes home on Monday's.   Please return on Fridays.  A Daily Conduct  Folder will be sent home for you regarding your child's behavior.  Please go over with your child the importance  of his/her behavior.  Sign and return daily.
