Mrs. Cranney

Hello, I am Ashley Cranney, and welcome to my website!  I am a born and bred WILDCAT, SHS C/O ’01, and have lived here most of my life!  I have a loving Husband, and 2 beautiful, wonderful, and exhausting babies to go home to each night.  Being a part of this community is very important to me; I truly feel honored and privileged to give back to my community by working with your students this year.

 I graduated with my B.S. in Agriculture from Sam Houston in May 2005. This is my fourth year to teach, all four have been with SISD, and my third to teach 8^th grade Science.  I am also the SJH Science Department Head.

We have a long road ahead of us this year! Your student will be taking their Science STAAR test in late April 2012.  This test is an accumulation of information learned from 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade Science.  We will be not only learning new material this year, but reviewing ideas from their previous two years.  With you and your students dedication, hard work, and positive attitude we will have an awesomely exciting and successful year!
