Our district... Splendora ISD encompasses an area of 72 square miles and a student population of 3,400, and although it’s rapidly growing, it is still the smallest school district in the county. Blue Ribbon Schools. n Achieve higher graduation rates by working to reduce the student dropout rate. n Students entering the eleventh grade shall have college level skills thus enabling them to obtain higher SAT scores and be better prepared to enter college or obtain workforce certification before graduation. n Beginning in the 2009-2010 school year, every child in grades 5-8 will participate in at least one enrichment activity. n Increase the percentage of elementary students who achieve the commended level of performance on the TAKS test.
