Splendora High School will offer a THEA Math Prep class to all of SHS students this week, June 22-25, 2009, from 3:00-5:00pm in room 1109. The THEA test will be administered on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 9:00 am in the library at Splendora High School. The THEA prep class and test are free of charge to all Splendora High School students. The cost of the THEA test is $29 for any other student wishing to take the exam. Peach Creek Students are Perfect! Principal Trina Young took the opportunity to recognize her perfect TAKS scorers at the Monday, June 15th board meeting. SHS Graduate At the Splendora ISD Board meeting, a 1984 student received his diploma. When Tom Lucas left Splendora High School in the spring of 1984, he lacked one-half credit of government. Annual Awards Luncheon for SISD Employees On June 5th, the entire faculty joined in the junior high cafeteria to hold their annual end-of-year luncheon. New Summer Hours The administration building and campus offices will have new summer hours June 8th through July 31st. The offices will be open Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and closed on Fridays. The week of June 29th - July 3rd, the offices will be closed for vacation. Have a great summer! |
