News from the Texas Department of Health regarding immunizations.  New immunization requirements took effect March 5, 2009, and will be enforced for the school year 2009-2010.  Please note the following requirements:

Meningococcal Vaccine - 7th grade requirement

Varicella (chicken pox) - 2 dose requirement for Kinder and 7th grade entry.

Tdap Vaccine - a booster dose requirement for 7th grade.

MMR Vaccine - 2 dose requirement for Kinder entry.

Hepatitis A Vaccine - 2 dose requirement for Kinder entry.
