I am so excited to share our success of being an EXEMPLARY campus!  Let's head into another Exemplary year, and gear up for an exciting 2009-2010.  Parents, please read the following about the safety and health of your student:

Students are our primary concern here at Splendora ISD.  Our staff works together to provide not only educational opportunities that will serve our students throughout their lives; but, with opportunities to develop important skills.  We all get bombarded with things that we can handle only if we know the resources that are available to us.  Available resources to students are found on Splendora ISD campuses through programs and activities.  Some programs include suicide prevention, drug awareness, guidance, and character development.  Other programs include accelerated instruction, specific career training, leadership programs and opportunities, and extracurricular activities. The list is so great that it would be difficult to talk about all of them in this article.  To get your child involved in any of these and other activities, contact staff at your child’s campus.  Additionally, for crisis situations, contact staff at your child’s campus.  Other staff available to your child include our two Licensed Specialists in School Psychology, Shannon Wallace and Jennifer Stewart.  Both Shannon and Jennifer can be contacted at 281.689.4328.  Please let us know how we can help your child in this wonderful time of his or her life.
